“ As an Honors student, my entire NAU experience has been rewarding. NAU has some of the greatest faculty in the world. My philosophy classes placed a big emphasis on being critically reflective on all aspects of life—education is worth so much more than just getting a job. Earlier, my goal was to join the corporate world; now, I want to help other students recognize the value of their education. ”– Brianna Zgurich, triple major in philosophy, German, and business management;Gold Axe winner; working toward a PhD in philosophy at an Ivy League school

“ I will always recommend studying abroad to other students. You will learn a lot about yourself when you are willing to step out of that comfort zone and into the unknown. You get to experience so many things that you normally never would come across in your familiar bubble of home. You meet people, experience different cultures, try new foods, and forge friendships that will last lifetimes. Studying abroad is a unique and amazing opportunity. ”– Amanda Jaeger, Hotel and Restaurant Management major
