3 HOOTSUITE CAMPAIGNS USER GUIDE

Campaign User FlowThe typical user flow of direct-upload campaigns including photo, video, and essay contests:

Photo Contest Create visually stunning photo contests that inspire your audience to submit, share, vote and comment on their favorite photos.


Photo ContestPlease note that customization changes made on one page (Ex. background color) are reflected throughout your campaign.

1. Background This could be an uploaded image (tiled or fixed), or a color (hex value).

Tip: Hex values can be selected when using the built-in color editor.

2. Header image Upload a .jpg or .png file that is at least 970px wide. The image height is flexible, but we recommend between a maximum of 500px.

3. Active tab color Color is a visual indicator for a selected or active tab. Because the font color is black, choosing a lighter color (hex value) is recommended.

4. Tab color Choose a color (hex value) that is complementary to your color scheme.

5. Registration page (optional) A registration page can be added to the space above “Step 1 - Create Your Entry”. It might include a disclaimer, images, or company logo.

6. Body text color Choose a color (hex value) that is complementary to your color scheme, and easy for users to read.

7. Question fields Questions for your target audience can be added below the general data capture fields.

8. Button color Choose a color (hex value) that is complementary to your color scheme.

9. Footer color Choose a color (hex value) that is complementary to your color scheme.

Tip: Tapping “Menu” directs users to your campaign content (tabs/pages) .

2. Mobile header image Ensure optimum resolution by using a .jpg or .png file that is at least 480px in width. The image height is flexible, but we recommend a maximum of 300px.

Tip: Limit text and increase font size.

3. Tabs Customized tabs are formatted as a drop-down menu in a mobile campaign.
