The micro-climate of the Costa del Sol

The region of the Spanish coastline in which the hotel

sits has a ‘micro-climate’ which gives a mean average

temperature of 19ºC, this provides the area with

pleasant warm summers which are not overbearingly

hot (although sun worshippers may relish the months of

August and September). The region is sheltered to the

rear by the towering peaks of the Sierra Blanca which

helps provide the mildly pleasant winters with rain being

infrequent and mainly occurring in the months of

November through to March.

A pleasant breeze often blows throughout the summer

months to keep you cool whilst you enjoy this delightful

and easily accessible region of spain.

three months, was voted amongst the ‘Top 25 Cookery Schools in the

World'. Jean-Christophe restored part of his 14th century Hertfordshire

farmhouse so that the Novelli Academy could be accommodated in his

own home.

The brand new Cooking Academy here will continue to offer the highest

standards in world class instruction. We welcome the addition of this

exciting new facility and extend a warm welcome to Anthony Novelli who

will front this prestigious division.

The 2008 Marbella film festival was a resounding success sponsored for

the first time by the hotel. Organised by a team of dedicated professionals
