• Meals included so you don’t have to cook
• Live among other UL Lafayette students with the same major
as well as get exposed to a very diverse group of students
• Studies have shown that students that live on campus have a
higher graduation rate.
The University of Louisiana System policy requires all unmarried, full-time
undergraduate students, regardless of age or emancipation status, live on
campus as long as space is available.

3 ways to pay:
1. Online: Through student’s ULINK account
2. In person: Student Cashier’s Center (only
accept Cash, Check, Money Order)

Figure out out-of-pocket total:
Total university cost – all payments made and expected (financial aid,
scholarships, TOPS, etc.) = out-of-pocket expense
2 payment plans:
1. In full: August 13
2. 5 equal installments: August 13,
September 1, October 1, November
1, & December 1
What to bring to halls?
• Linens (including XL twin sheets) and toiletries
• Shower curtain and trash can
• HE Laundry detergent
• Phone with cable and coaxial cable for TV
• TV, radio, alarm clock, lock for closet, etc.
• Adhesive gum

Deadlines and Assignments
• Deadline to apply for Academic Year 2014 – 2015 is
May 15. We assign students by date order. Space is
available. Freshmen singles are full at this point
• We begin sending assignments at the end of April
and will continue sending them every 2 weeks.
• Roommates: can be determined by the student on
application by including the person’s name and CLID
or the Office of University Housing will decide
roommates based on information provided on the
housing application.
