Food for Deer in North Carolina

In North Carolina there is usually only briers and pine cones for deer to eat.

When the farmers pick the fields they don't leave any of the crops for the deer to feed off of.

Also, when they log they replace them with pine trees, which does not allow proper food resources for the deer.

Food for Deer in Ohio In Ohio there are many things for deer to eat such as

acorns, shrubs, corn, and beans. They are able to eat all of these things because in

Ohio they leave hardwoods when they log and they also leave crops in the fields for the deer to eat.

Places for deer to live In Ohio, when they log they

log one block of woods but they have to leave the woods around it in hardwoods until that block of woods grows back.

In North Carolina, many farmers would rather plant pine trees because they will reproduce faster and the loggers can get more money for them.

Size of the deer

In North Carolina the deer are not able to grow very big because there is nothing for them to eat such as soy beans and corn.
