How to activate my account using MS AuthenticatorMy IDB Operations Portal

OBJECTIVEHow to activate my account to access the IDB Extranet and the information about my operations with the IDB Group.

How to Activate your Extranet Account using MS Authenticator

You will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your account. Go to your e-mail inbox and look for an email from BID-NoReply@iadb.org Subject: “IDB Group’s Extranet – ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT” Open the email and click on the link to activate your account.

Enter your New Password and Confirm New Password.

Please note that your password must meet all the requirements indicated in red.

Click Next

You have 2 options for Authentication methods. Choose your preferred method and follow the appropriate instructions:

ACCOUNT ACTIVATION: Option 1

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL

If you are doing this process from your mobile device, you can tap the blue-bold links labeled as “App Store”for iPhone OR “Google Play” for Android. This action will open your installed Application Store automatically.

Download and Install Microsoft Authenticatoron your mobile device.

1. Go to your mobile device, open your AppStore your mobile device.

2. Search for the MS Authenticator App. Download and install the application.

ADD ACCOUNTOnce you have installed the Microsoft Authenticator App, open the application, and follow these instructions:

On the Add Account screen select Other account (Google, Facebook, etc.)

SCAN QR CODE OR ENTER CODE MANUALLY

USING YOUR PC: If you are doing this activation process on your PC, scan the QR code with your phone’s camera or QR code reader.

USING YOUR PHONE: If you are doing this activation process on your phone, click on “Click or Tap here if you can’t scan the barcode.”

Tap on the 3 dots on the top right corner. Tap on Add Account

A newly created account will be added to your Microsoft Authenticator App and it will display new 6-digit code verification code every 30 seconds.

INSERT CODE

Enter the 6-digit code verification code taken from the step 5 and click Activate.

CONFIGURE ALTERNATIVE METHOD (optional)

The account activation process is complete.

Add this point you have two options:

If you wish to configure your “SMS” authen-tication as an alternative option to the “Microsoft Authenticator App,” click YES and follow the instruction on the next page.

If you wish to finish the activation process and be redirected you the target system, you can click on “Maybe later.”

ACCOUNT ACTIVATION: Option 2

Select your CountryEnter your Phone NumberClick Send Code

Check your cellphone. You should have received a text message like the image below with a 6-digit verification code:

Enter the 6-digit code received via text message on the Extranet login siteClick Verify Code.

Note: You can click “Send New Code” in case you have not received any or the previous code received has expired.

Click Continue to complete the process, You will be redirected to the system you want to access.
