How to disable post option in FB50

Access transaction code SHD0:

Click Create icon:

Enter document date.

Hit ENTER.

Type a short description for the variant.

Click on

The following screen will be displayed:

Expand and then expand document, you will obtain the following screen:

Click on field “POST”.

Press F2, the line containing the “POST” field will highlight.

Click on field “Simulate”.

Press F2, the line containing the “SIMULATE” field will highlight.

Give a description to your transport request.

Click on

Activate the variant:

Now you are ready to use FB50 transaction code without being allowed to post the document. As testing proceed to enter a document. Once you are working with FB50 screen, please check that the option menu Document Post is deactivated. Also check that POST icon is not displayed.
