How To Download ‘Adobe Acrobat Reader DC’

This guide will help you to download this free pdf reader on a laptop, apple device or an android device. Doing this will allow your child the capability to write their answers on pdf files which will be shared on Google Classroom which they can then submit back to their teacher entirely electronically, without the need for a printer!

Downloading to a laptop The layout for the following screenshots are for a Mac, however the process will be similar for non-apple devices.

This window may pop up. If it does, just click ‘Continue to United Kingdom’

This is the home page for Adobe’s official site. Click on the three lines in the top left corner.

Click on the ‘PDF & E-signatures’ option in the drop-down menu.

Click on ‘Acrobat Reader’.

Click on ‘Download Reader’

Click on the top blue bar to begin the downloading process for ‘Adobe Acrobat Reader DC’.

This will begin the downloading process.

Once this is complete, click on the installer file in your downloads.

It will look something like this! Double click to open.

Follow the steps by pressing continue.

Once successfully installed you will see this message. The application will now be successfully installed on your laptop ready to use!

Downloading on a mobile or tablet:

To download the app on an android mobile or tablet device, the process is much simpler! Simply type the words ‘adobe acrobat reader free’ into the search bar on the Google Play Store and you will find this app. Click install.

On an apple mobile or device, type in ‘Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDF’ and this will be available to download!
