STEP18:WaterElements

Thefirstcolorsintroducedintoamapshouldbethewaterelements,usuallyadeepblueorbluishgreen.Seasandoceansneednotbedark,however;itjustdependsonthemapitselfandhowyou’dlikeittolook.Paintintheocean,startingatthelandboundaryandworkingyourwayout,paintingaroundyourcompasses,legendandborders.Ifpaintingdigitally,makeaseparatelayercalled“water”tokeepitseparatefromthelinework.
