Before you submit a request, you should make sure it is not already available at NMT Skeen Library. ILL will not make requests for material we already own.

To do this, go to the library’s homepage http://infohost.nmt.edu/~nmtlib/ and click “LIBROS (Online Catalog)”.

If you receive this message, the material is eligible to be requested

through Interlibrary Loans.

If your search results bring you to a record such as this one, the library owns

this material, and it may not be requested through ILL. Instead, you will

have to check it out from the NMT library.

This means NMT Skeen Library does not own the book, and it is eligible to be

requested through ILL.

ILLiad will ask you to describe the item. Here is an example:

1) Enter the author’s or editor’s name. If there is more than one author, separate names by a comma.

2) Enter the full title of the book.

3) Enter all the publication information you can. The more information you provide ILL about your request, the faster the service will be. This information can be found at WorldCat.org or amazon.com.

4) Indicate which edition you want, otherwise you may receive an outdated copy.

5) ISBN can also be found at WorldCat.org or amazon.com. Providing the ISBN

will make service faster.

If you do not indicate specific languages you may receive material in any language.
