Measuring the Bed Width

Terms such as Single and King are not always precise enough- we suggest always taking an actual measurement as headboards are ordered to match the width of your bed. To do this, it is best to measure the bed width across the bed base rather than across the mattress.

Choosing a Headboard Height

Decide on the height that most suits your style and interior. Up to 10cm (4”) of the overall height of our headboards will be set below the top of the mattress (the pillow board).

Fixing Options

We supply our headboards either fixed with a batten (for fixing to the wall) or struts (for fixing to the bed base):

Our headboard range is made in two standard heights:70cm (28”) (60cm visible) 100cm (39”) (90cm visible)

Wall mountedWall fixing is the better option for large headboards and makes a simple and secure fixing. Always recommended for our 100cm height headboards.

Bed mountedStruts are adequate for most but can be unstable for bigger sizes. Note, your divan bed should have fixing bolts for headboard struts set 15 cm (6”) from the sides of the bed. (see above diagram).
