How to put Panopto videos in Blackboard There are several methods for putting Panopto Videos in Blackboard. Which you use may depend on what
you are doing at the time.
You may:
1) Simply Paste the URL link to the video in the Text Editor
2) Embed the player with the video
3) Use the Mashup Tool to place the video
4) Use the Tools link to add a video to a Content area
Several of these are simply different ways of accomplishing the same thing. Choose what seems to work
best for you.
Paste the Panopto link in a Text Editor
This works for Students and Instructors alike.
1) Obtain the URL link to your Panopto Video. This
may be from the email sent to you when Panopto
finished processing your video (See Right).
2) Use the Share Link
Right-Click with your mouse and select Copy
Hyperlink
3) Go to your Blackboard course. You may place this
in any text editor (example: A discussion board).
4) In the text editor, simply type your text, and where
you want the link to appear, Right - Click and select Paste from
the pop-up menu.
5) Don’t forget to click Submit when you are all done.
Text Editor Mashup Tool
Again, this works for Students and Instructors alike.
1) Go into any Item, Assessment, or Discussion board that has the
Text Editor
2) In the menu, click Mashups—Panopto Video
3) In the pop-up window, find your video
4) Put a check in the box beside the video
5) Click the Insert Videos button
6) Finish your text, click Submit when done.

Video Link
2) Select the Folder on your Panopto account (usually class folder)
3) Select the Lecture ( video) you want
4) Give the Video Item a Title

6) Click Submit when done.
