User Information

Specification for the file format: MLS or SAPThe file will be stored in the directory which is specifiedin the Location field. In case the Create Sitefolderoption is activated, a directory with the sitename will becreated in the location above.

Header InformationEnter the site name by keyboard andpress [Enter], the cursor jumps to thenext field. Scan the NE item code andafterwards the NE serial number.

If SAP is in use, then the WBSCode need to be entered,otherwiese the SiteID can beused. The Subcontractor canfind the WBS code in EPM.

No Network Element (New change when NEID is missing)

In case the network element sticker

can not be found, or the CSV file is

generated for Microwave or any

other unites which does not belong

to the Network Element, theNetwork Element Item code and

Serial number should be left blank.

NetraScanner will create then a

special header line automatically inthe CSV file.



Next step is to scan the Item code and SeriNumber of each passive unit. After each scthe cursor jumps to the next field.

After a unit is successfully scanned, theunit information are listed in the table.



The error checking function checksthe following:

- Serial number is not allowed to have a dot.- Serial number can not be scanned twice.

- Item code and Serial number can not be the sa

If SAP is in use, the following additional rule is act-Item Code needs to have a dot.

With the Rescan Button you can delete the itemcompletely and restart the scan process.



To create the CSV file, just click to theGenerate File Button. The file will be created

in the storage location which is specified in th

options.

There are 2 different file formats, one for MLSthe other for SAP R/3. These settings can bechanged under options.



The commissioning file looks like this in Notepad.Dont open this file in Excel, because Excel destroyssometimes the file format.The Network Element item code has to be on the first row,in the 1st column and the Network Element serial numberin the 11th column.
