High Point RumorsParty on the Plank returns to High Point for three Friday concerts at 1529 N. Main St. in Uptowne High Point. The Fairlanes will perform on May 4, followed by Big Daddy Love on May 11 and The Part Time Party Time Band on May 18. Concerts run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Admission is $7 per person. Uptowne Market, a Saturday outdoor market, will open in Main Street Square in High Point on Saturday, May 5 and continue every week through October 27. The Greensboro Dog Jog, a 1.8 mile run/walk to benefit Canine Companions for Independence, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 5 at Greensboro Country Park. The registration fee is $30.
