Executive SummeryLegal frame work tries to stop discrimination in the work place. Discrimination simply means
making distinction among people. Two types of discrimination can be found in the
organizations while managing employees and discrimination law distinguishes between
following discrimination. Like Disparate treatment also called adverse treatment refers to
intentional discrimination and other is Disparate impact also called adverse impact refers to
unintentional discrimination. We prepared a report based onEmployee Discrimination Of a
company: A study on Spellbound. The objectives of the study are as follows: The broad
objective of the report is to know about the Employee Discrimination in a company . Specific
Objective: To know about the percentage of employee from minority point of view. To knowabout the percentage of employee from Gender point of view. We used two departments for
doing our report. These are Department of Activation Support Employee and Department of
Communication Support Employee. From those we try to find out the employee
discrimination in case of men, women and minorities. On behalf of my overall judgment we
find out from my report that Spellbound firm have some female and minorities employees.
They use female and others minorities employees but its not enough. Especially in activation
support department have little discriminate. In this department have large amount male
employees. Spellbound firm should more concern about female and others minorities
employees.

1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.2Background of the Report
After completion of the course every student has to go through a practical orientation in
reputed business organization to gather the practical knowledge. We prepared a report
based on Employee Discrimination in a company: A study on Spellbound. We have
completed our report on Spellbound firm at, Dhaka. We have tried our best to show our
personal observation and knowledge in this report.
1.3Objectives of the Report
The objectives of the study are as follows:
Broad Objective:
The broad objective of the report is to know about theEmployee Discrimination in a
company: A study on Spellbound.
1.4 Purpose of the Study
The purpose of the study was to present the percentage of employee from religious point of
view and the percentage of employee from Gender point of view. This study attempted to
understand the Employee Discrimination Of a company: A study on Spellbound.
1.5 Sources of Data Collection
The study was conducted based on both the primary and secondary sources of information.

We gathered primary data from the employees at the office of Spellbound Firm.
Secondary dataCompanys HR record book.
1.6 Methodology
Research Design: Our report is a Descriptive report. We just collected data and made the
report.
Statistical Tool:
I had use excel and MS word to get our desired outputs. I formulate a single data and further
procured the next.I followed the following steps to prepare the report:
Defined the problem
Planning the report design.
Planned the sample.
Gathered the data.
Processed and analyzed the data.
Formulated, concluded and prepared the report.
1.7 Scope of the Report
This report shows details about Spellbound and its employee discrimination.
1.8 Limitations of the Study
It was difficult to find out the gap between rules and regulations and real life
practice. So, I went under a huge stress to find out those matters

Organizational Units
Strategic DevelopmentThe strategic development will be conducted by M Sadequl Arefeen. He is currently
working as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He will be coordinating the strategic
planning as well as the event planning for the BEACH KABADDI 2010
Operations
M. Iftekharul Islam will be coordinating with the operations of the event. The
activation and implementation will work prior to this event till event day with him. The
operational activities will be supervised. Mr. Iftekharul Islam is currently working asthe Head of Operations
Creative
MH Mishu will act as the head of the creative team and implementation before
production. He is currently the Head of Creative of Spellbound. He with his team
members will implement the whole creative idea and needs for this event.
Accounts & Finance
Mr. Toufiqul Alam will be coordinating with the finance related issues from
Spellbound. 3-4 executive members will be working as his subordinates to run the
regular basis. On a need basis more people will be hired to supervise this event.
Project Coordinator
The project will be coordinated by Anawar Hossain Chowdhury, Chief Coordinator,
Spellbound. He will be the key personnel for this event. For any query or information
he will act as the key personnel.

Logistics Support
Spellbound has a good reputation of providing event support very effectively. We have
already completed many activation and events including Dhaka Chamber of Commerce 50years celebration, Center for foreign affairs Studies(CFAS),UNDP, UNYSAB, Save the
children, FORD Launching, Warid logo re-launching, CAPEP CE Workshop 2008 (Chevron),
Taste of Dhaka 2008, IFAWPCA Convention 2009, BACI Int. Construction Exhibition 2008.
Currently we are also supporting some organization their logistics requirements in a regular
basis. We have a strong and capable team who works regularly for us; as well as we have a
back up team to help in times of need.
Resource support
Due to the diversified involvement in different sectors with individual wings including wedding
planning, gift shop, we have a very strong support of resources which includes flowers, gift
items, car rental services, venue bookings, food supply, decoration, etc.

Event Support
Spellbound has a experience to organize one of the largest participated event named
Digital Innovation Fair 2010 which was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina. The fair was visited by more than 50000 guests and visitors. We have
also dealt with more than 300 foreign delegates from 16 countries during the IFAWPCA
Convention 2009. We have also reputation of handling selective personnel like the
Current US ambassador Mr. James F. Moriarty, FORD Motors regional Head and US
Senator Hansen Hashem Clarke. In our several programs we have handled Honorable
Finance Minister Abul M. Abdul Muhit, Honorable Commerce Minister Mr. Faruq Khan as
well as Honorable Health Minister A.F.M Ruhul Haq and Communication Minister Syed
Abul Hossain.

Here we can see that in this department have total 58 employees. We found that 72 %
employees are male, 14% employees are female and 14% employees are female within
total employees.

Here we can see that in this department have total 49 employees. We found that 17
employees are male which is 55%, and 11 employees are female which is 23% and 11%

4.0 Conclusion:
On behalf of my overall judgment we find out from my report that Spellbound firm have
some female and minorities employees. They use female and others minorities
employees but its not enough. Especially in activation support department have little
discriminate. In this department have large amount male employees. I got clear evidence
from my observation & analysis result. Spellbound firm should more concern aboutfemale and others minorities employees.
