HOW TO BID
Directly by internet on eBay:- http://www.ebay.co.uk
You can view bids onEbay without registering with eBay.co.uk, but if you would like to bid
you will need to register and obtain a UserID and choose a password. This is very simple and
does not require giving any financial information. Go to eBay.co.uk and click on „Register‟.
Once on eBay, look under the eBay Categories:-
Sporting Goods > Fishing > FlyFishing >
Then try to find „NASF‟ or „NASF AUCTION‟ (ie search for NASF under tab „Find‟)
Each lot title will start with NASF AUCTION
The Seller will be called NASFauction
Auction open 1st-11th December (closing in the evening at different times for each Lot)
eBay bids works similarly to leaving „commission bids‟ a live auction. You place a bid for the
most you are willing to pay for a Lot and if you are the winner you will only pay the amount
necessary to beat the next highest bid. For instance if you bid £500 for a Lot and the next
highest bids £420, you will only have to pay £425 eventhough you placed a bid for £500. If
you are outbid, eBay will automatically send you an email notification so that you can
increase your bid if desired.
Should you win the auction for a Lot, NASF will contact you for payment and put you in
touch with the donor to arrange details etc. eBay does not charge Buyers any commission, so
what you bid is what you pay if you win (unless there is any postage to add).
Postal Bids:-
If you do not have access to the internet, NASF can accept signed, sealed postal bids,
which NASF will place on your behalf under the username „NASFpostalbid2009‟ and the bid
will then work as above. Postal bids will be placed in the order received.

the cancellation of travel plans or otherwise.
5. Bidders bidding by post authorize the NASF to place a bid on eBay as agent on their
behalf and shall be bound as if they had placed the bid personally.
6. Payment should be made to the NASF by cheque or as agreed with the NASF within 7
