• Available for telephone consultations, individual and group counseling, daytime and after hours urgent care, medication consultations and management
• Eligible to all registered Harvard students• Coverage is provided by “HUHS Health Fee”, Not
your insurance
What is available at CAMHS?
Privacy and Confidentiality
• We have…• An ethical and legal obligation to maintain your
privacy and confidentiality• We can speak with someone on your behalf with
your explicit written permission• We are only permitted to breach privacy and
confidentiality if you or someone else is in imminent danger to yourself or another or in the case of a child, elderly, or disabled person being at risk for some form of abuse

concerning and want to speak to someone• Want to balance your life and work at Harvard• You’ve noticed changes in yourself that interfere with how
you engage with friends, your work, your studies• Follow-up with prior counseling• Worried about a labmate, friend, family member• Noticing changes in yourself
What to Notice in Yourself and Others
• Mood: irritability, sadness, anger, frustration, exuberant moods, anxiety
• Appetite: too little, too much• Energy: fatigued, more energetic• Concentration difficulties• Sleep patterns: too much, too little, trouble falling or staying
asleep• Motivation to engage with work, people• Lower interest in activities, work, relationships• Thoughts: self-critical, racing thoughts, ruminations• Loss of meaning in life goals, spiritual/religious belief
How is your foundation of self-care?• Some symptoms may suggest that your
life/work balance is a bit distressed• Sleep, eating, exercise/stress management,
social connectedness are important elements of maintaining good self-care
• Constellations of symptoms can indicate anxiety, mood dysregulation, eating concerns, learning or attention issues

• Schedule a 20 min telephone consultation, at your convenience• Weekdays 8am-5pm 617.495.2042• Schedule online via HUHS portal or by calling
• Daytime Urgent Care appointments • Weekday, business days 9am-5pm
• After Hours Urgent Care 617.495.5711• Two mental health providers on-call each evening, • 24 hours/day on weekends and holidays, • 365 days/yr• Telephone and in-person assessment available

Concerns about your experience at CAMHS?
You can request a change in treatment by contacting the telephone consultation line or by speaking with your current counselor about what is not working in order to make a change.
