Our newest addition to learning in the City, the stunning Hume Global Learning Centre – Craigieburn offers the growing local community a space to learn, share knowledge and inspire creativity.

The contemporary building features iconic architectural design with facilities including IT training rooms, small to medium sized meeting rooms, as well as two large multipurpose rooms equipped with the latest audio visual presentation equipment.

In addition to meeting and event space the centre houses Craigieburn Library, incorporating all the elements of a traditional public library together with flexible and dynamic spaces of a modern learning centre. The library features a lively children’s area, youth area, meeting and study rooms and internet hub.

The centre also includes a gallery that provides the community with a dedicated exhibition space to showcase local art, history and culture as well as high profile artists and travelling exhibitions.

An onsite café provides the perfect spot for meetings, study or catch up with friends.

Occasional care for children is also available to ensure all members of the community have access to the array of learning opportunities offered in the centre.

Exhibitions and art showsGalleryA flexible space, boasting a state-of-the-art lighting, sound system and exhibition support. The gallery presents an annual program of high quality arts, cultural exhibitions and events, focussing on work by local artists through to touring exhibitions. Expressions of Interest to exhibit in the gallery from Hume artists and cultural groups open on an annual basis.

Food and catering packagesThe centre offers convenient onsite catering. Choose from several menu and package options, as well as a wide range of lunch and snack options for individual purchase. Alternatively, you are also free to hire your own external caterer.

AccessLocated on the corner of Central Park Avenue and Aitken Boulevard – at the site of the future Craigieburn town centre – the centre is accessible by car and bus and just over three kilometres from Craigieburn train station.

CarBus number 529 provides direct connection from Craigieburn train station to Central Park Avenue. Get off at Central Park Avenue for a fi ve minute walk to the Hume Global Learning Centre – Craigieburn. Free full-day parking is available directly behind the centre.

TrainCraigieburn train station is located just over three kilometres from the centre with direct connections to and from the Melbourne CBD.
