Hyatt Park Mission Statement
We are Hyatt Park where we foster respect, encourage social emotional learning, inspire academic achieve-
ment, and promote safety and community responsibility for all.
Can you believe we only have 3 Mondays left in this school year? And what a year it
has been!!! But we have certainly PERSEVERED!!! As a community, we have worked
through this COVID 19 Pandemic together and I thank you!!
All of our students have been engaged in some form of testing this past few weeks, and
State testing begins on Tuesday, May 18th for our 3rd-5th grade students. Please encour-
age your children to do their “personal best!” The last day of school is June 11th.
Unfortunately, we will not hold Field Day activities this year. We hope we will be able
to resume our regular schedule of activities for the 2021-2022 school year. Our last Par-
ent Party for the year is scheduled for next Wednesday, May 19th at 11am. It’s in person
since devices are no longer at home. The topic is a resource fair of summer enrichment
activities including books for their libraries, Girl Scouts, etc. We will see you out front!!!
If you have a child that will be turning 4 or 5 on or before September 1, 2021, it is not
too late to register them for school. To assure that we have our staff in place, we are ask-
ing you to do this NOW! Our office is open from 7:30am-3:00pm each day. If you are
not sure what is needed, please contact Ms. Green, our Registrar, at 735-3421 for assis-
tance.
For those of you interested in a Virtual school environment for your child for the 2021-
2022 school year, be on the lookout for additional information that will be shared from
the district office. If your child was invited to attend Summer Soar, it is not too late to
get them registered. Please check our website for additional information.
We are in need of parents to serve as officers for the 2021-2022 school year to assist us
with our SIC and PTA organizations. If you are interested in assisting, please call the
front office and leave your name and a number with Ms. Mayes where you can be
reached. Your support is needed.
A reminder that Monday, May 31st is Memorial Day and is a holiday for staff and stu-
dents. We will resume school on Tuesday, June 1st.
Although we have not been able to invite our parents into the building this year, I hope
you have felt our hearts have been open to you. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you
have questions or concerns regarding the end of year activities or the upcoming school
year.
Our mission is possible!
