I Wear Eyewear

Is the future ready for futuristic eyewear? Maybe not, but why wait

for the future to decide when there is now! Twins, Coco and Breezy are

currently paving their way onto the fashion scene as eyewear designers

with their latest collection 20/20.

A line of eyewear themed by futurism must exude some type of

feeling in the person wearing the sunglasses. Well, for Coco and Breezy

they have a feeling of newness. “When we wear our glasses we feel like

new people.” These dynamic twins are creating wearable art made for the

eyes. They invest a lot of their time in making sunglasses that are fit for

the future of fashion.

Coco and Breezy moved to New York 8 months ago to pursue their

fashion career. They said, “New York is fashion forward” and there is an

abundance of fashion opportunities, because of that they feel at home.

Being from Minnesota where fashion is merely a term that is not often

used; there is no wonder why they relocated and they did it while making

a bold statement- Arriving in New York with their sunglasses on captured

the attention of many people. They received numerous compliments but

they did not allow that to tamper with their egos.

Surrounded by lights and cameras often means, it is only a matter

of time before we see talented yet innocent people turn into a product of

the high volume of limelight. However, Coco and Breezy have remained

humble- commuting on New York subways to get around the city, living

in the Brooklyn area and sketching in local parks.

In fact they love to eat like most people do. “We love sushi and

butter pecan ice cream.” “We don’t know how to cook but we know how

to eat out,” says twins Coco and Breezy. Also, they have piercings and

tattoos, one of which that is of their self designed sunglasses.

At only 19 years old, these twins don’t have a hard time mixing

business with pleasure because what is work for them is also pleasurable.

They attend many of New York’s fashion magazine events, networking

and partying with their artist friends. The night- life in New York is like

no other. There is high energy, a tremendous amount of talent and many

people creating success for themselves. Which is what Coco and Breezy

are doing.

They had some advice for their girlfriends and here is what they

had to say, “be passionate, be ready for hard work and go for it. You can

have fun with work even when you’re young.”
