Where volume contrast is important, the “Manual mode” allows sound to be captured as it is bydistinguishing dierences in sound volume, making it ideal or recording live music perormances. It’s

equipped with a digital limiter to prevent distortion when the sound is at an excessive volume.

MICROPhONE FREQUENCY OPTIMISER The “Microphone Frequency Optimiser” optimises the requency characteristics o the microphone

unit. Low requencies outside the range o normal human speech are naturally cut out in the

“dictation”, “meeting” and “high-sensitivity” modes, reducing the eect o noise rom wind and

other elements. In the “music” and “manual” modes, the recordings extend uniormly into low and

high requency ranges, in order to realistically capture the sound o the instruments, optimising

requency characteristics and maintaining a well-balanced sound range.
