LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
A person who plans and designs outside spaces such as parks, gardens, playgrounds and others to make the spaces not only functional but also beautiful.
Roles of LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT • Plan, design and manage open
spaces including both natural and build environments
• Provide innovative and aesthetically pleasing environments for people to enjoy
• To conserve environment• To preserve wetlands and historic

produce a well combination of buildings and the outside areas

• Assists with selection on selection and interviewing contractors

• Ensure their designs co-ordinate with landscape architect’s design

Grading plan is the process of modification of existing
landform to accommodate new structures, parking and circulation and to ensure positive drainage.

- Maintain the landscape to achieve the intended function and project goals
• Keep the plants regularly watered• Remove dead or drying plants• Remove trash leaves and excessive plant
debris• Consulting with the arborist on plants care • Keep the soil in fertile condition• Weed control• Maintain layer of mulch• Use fertilizers • Control pest and disease of the plants• Mowing and trimming• Check and repair the irrigation system
