• IntroductionThis course is designed to give students basicknowledge and training in the analysis and planningof urban transportation systems. Relevant areas ofconcentration include the urban transportationplanning process, transportation demand andsupply models, data collection, processing,formulation and evaluation of solutions.

• Objectives: The course aims at imparting knowledge on

understanding of urban transportation problems inplanners perspective, definition of the problem,setting clear goals and objectives to serve asguiding factors in the planning process.
