With customized needs assessment tools, IKAN ensures hassle free smooth transition, allowing prompt employee productivity, relocation cost savings and a well settled family.

The various offered services are:

Area Orientation / Look See Program / Preview Trip

The area orientation conducted during a “preview trip” or a “look-see visit” serves as a valuable tool with multiple applications for use in a relocation program. It can help sell the new location to a prospective candidate, or be used as part of a group move induction program.

An important goal of the orientation program is to enable families a focused overview of everyday life at the new destination. The program serves as an aid in decision making in relation to the place of residence or the residential area, so that the family can "feel at home" in the new environment quickly. Exemplary accompanied, “tailor made” house and apartment tours, based on a customized Needs Assessment Form, give a first impression of the living conditions in the host city. IKAN works as the extension of the HR arm, ensuring that the transferee gets a good view of what to expect at the new destination and our consultants supplement the local HR efforts to ensure that the transferee accepts the assignment.

An independent area orientation compliments the total relocation package providing a comprehensive overview of the new location.
