We follow the STEAM EducationConventionally, teaching and learning processes have been highly guided with a notion of delivering lectures by the teachers. One of the problems of school education in Nepal is the overemphasis on the contents that are presented in a more segregated way in each subject. We believe that the connections among different subjects and within the content of the same subject have to be well recognized for the holistic way of knowing. We treat a child as a whole and integrate ideas from different disciplines in a more critical and creative manner. For that, we apply STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) as an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to learning that encourages students to think more broadly and critically about the real-world problems. We believe that every child needs to have a healthy emotional connection with their family and hence our education curriculum is designed in a way that it helps fostering of emotional engagement between the parent and the child.

Good food, Good Mood at Euro Canteen:Nutritious and well-balanced diet along with some freshening up of the taste buds keeps the children healthy and happy – the two major requirements for effective learning. To ensure that the children eat good food and are in a good mood throughout their day, Euro School provides lunch and snack services at school. The food provided is aligned with the body requirements of the child and excessive spices and junk are avoided.

Connect and Communicate with our App:Euro Kids/Euro School (Chhauni) App aims to facilitate regular and seamless communication between the institution and the parents, keeping the parents updated about the child’s educational progress and achievements. Creating global citizens through multilingual proficiency:The first step towards embracing diversity begins with learning of new languages and at Euro School, Chhauni we have now inculcated language classes of Chinese to ensure that our students have a sound knowledge

about international languages and they can become proficient multilingual speakers. Through learning of multiple languages, our students learn to accept different diverse backgrounds while their ability to grasp new information also steadily rises as various research have shown that multilingual people tend to be smarter and easy learners in the long run.

Euro School Toastmasters Club: Children can join the Toastmasters Club to upgrade their speaking skills. Confidence while speaking in front of a mass, while facing interviews, while confronting a stranger – everything carries more weight than any sort of written aspects unlike the olden times. This is a part of 21st Century learning skills which is necessary and apt for today’s era.

Education: Technified:Taking into consideration the needs of the 21st generation, we have now integrated tech into our learning process and through methods of motion based learning where we show video clips we ensure that our students become future ready through capability to handle technological developments efficiently. A Glimpse of our Nurturing Environment

Take a summer ‘Swim’Swimming is considered to be one of the healthiest exercises which helps in the growth of the body. It’s not only a form of exercise but it also is a life savior skill which can come in handy during emergencies. To help our students learn this skill while also allowing them to freshen up themselves, we provide swimming facilities so that our children can enjoy their summers by taking a rejuvenating swim.

Let’s cherish child protection with the ‘Child Club’:In the quest to ensure that our students grow up in a safe and nurturing environment with adults who are committed to safeguarding them, we have established a child club where our students are brought together and trained to protect themselves and their social circle from any form of violence and abuse. Our child club not only trains the children about maintaining child protection but also brings such sensitive issues in the forefront so that we can build a safer community with coordinated efforts.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about building a socially responsible school striving for social change along the line of seeking upliftment in all aspects. The concept of CSR is associated (but, not limited) with all the stakeholders like customers, employees, investors, society and government. We have integrated CSR activities in school with components such as Free Health Check-ups, environment-friendly operations, donations etc.

Inclusive Environment: Inclusive Education is the key to leave no one behind. Children with disabilities (physical, intellectual, gender-oriented) are often unable to go to school because of unsuitable school environment and infrastructure. In addition, there is a limited understanding within their communities and among teachers about their learning needs, which is often fuelled by prejudices around disability. Our Special Affiliations

Admission PolicyWe follow a transparent and inclusive admission policy. There are a few steps and few rules that we hereby declare must be followed before any child can become a part of our educational institution.

9 Priority will be given to kids who have completed their kindergarten from Euro Kids Chhauni itself for the purpose of hassle-free continuity of education.

9 We maintain diversity in terms of ethnicity, economic backgrounds and gender identities and any violation in the acceptance of diversity by a student or his/her parent and/or guardian shall not be tolerated.

9 There is no refund policy in Euro School Chhauni, and the deposited admission fees shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Admission Procedure:

The steps to be followed by parents/guardians to enroll their child in Euro School:

Step 1: Contact the school administration at 01-5902968 / 5902952 or ekchhauni@gmail.com and arrange an appointment for school tour to analyze and understand our school environment and the alliance between your child’s needs and the school environment.

Step 2: Application forms can be collected from the school reception. Online applications will also be accepted through our Website www.eschhauni.edu.np

Step 3: The filled application form can be left at the reception and along with the application form, the copies of birth and health certificates and 3 passport sized photographs of the child must also be submitted to the school office. One PP size photograph of the parents is also a must.

Step 4: An appointment will then be set for the assessment and interview of the child along with his/her parents. The applicant child will also have to go through a proper assessment test.

Step 5: The parents/guardians will receive an email or a telephone call on the acceptance of the child.

Our Scholarship Programs

We believe that every child has an equal right to education and hence, for deserving candidates who cannot afford tuition fees, we offer scholarship programs. Twenty-percent of our students benefit from the scholarship program. The scholarship committee determines the eligibility of the student to receive a scholarship and the committee’s recommendations are submitted to Board of Trustees for approval.

International School Award (ISA) by British Council:The Euro School has received the British Council International School Award on August 13th, 2015. This is a benchmarking scheme that accredits school as having an outstanding level of support for nurturing global citizenship in young people and enriching teaching and learning. The framework of global citizenship enhances global perspectives among young minds and transfers in them skills to work in a global economy. It acts as both a motivator and an opportunity to help teachers groom them professionally adding an international dimension in their profession.

‘THE FLAG BEARER AWARD’ by EuroKids International Pvt. Ltd.We were elated to receive the ‘Flag Bearer Award’, by our international franchisor EuroKids International on December 2018. The award was a benchmarking scheme that accredits school as having been able to align the domestic needs of the

education system of the home country with the international education system. This award is an encouragement for us to move forward ensuring that our school reaches greater heights and a child can learn through international standards of education without having to move abroad.
