Reading: Students will work with a partner this week to make their reading smooth and to help each other as they come to tricky words in books. Writing: Students will choose one story to edit and publish in preparation for our writing celebration on Friday! Letterland: Students will learn about words having a long vowel at the end of the word. Students will learn these words have open syllables. Example words are go, he, she, etc. Math: Students will complete an assessment on using strategies to add and subtract. Then students will begin working on place value by Please join the PTA! The cost for an individual to join the PTA is $10 and $15 for a family. Please collect Box Tops! We are collecting Box Tops throughout the year to raise funds to support our school. Please send in Box Tops as you collect them. The class with the most Box Tops collected by August will receive a Popcorn Party! Class Website! What’s going on in….Reading: Students will work with a partner this week to make their reading smooth and to help each other as they come to tricky words in books.

Writing: Students will choose one story to edit and publish in preparation for our writing celebration on Friday!

Letterland: Students will learn about words having a long vowel at the end of the word. Students will learn these words have open syllables. Example words are go, he, she, etc.

Math: Students will complete an assessment on using strategies to add and subtract. Then students will begin working on place value by learning to break teen numbers into tens and ones.

Science: Students will complete their measurement unit by making a measuring tape and measuring objects in the classroom.

Please join the PTA!The cost for an individual to join the PTA is $10 and $15 for a family.
