Then check how the author decided to end the story. --Share a story with your child and have him/her retell it to you. Home Practice Ideas For Feb.--Please read with and to your childeveryday.--Read a story with your child and have him/her predict what is going to happen at the end before it is shared. Then check how the author decided to end the story.--Share a story with your child and have him/her retell it to you. See if he /she can tell you the order of things correctly. Act out the story or do a puppet show about it.--Count by 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s to 100.--Count backwards from numbers less than 10 to prepare for subtraction.--Work on the monthly Homework Calendar and Book It.
