Presidents Report
I trust everyone had an enjoyable and safe Easter.
I understand that the Golf and BBQ event on Easter Eveat Royal Melbourne went well, despite the wind. I heard
that golfers and equipment nearly got blown away! Thanks to Roger for arranging this, and to Heather for allthe “behind the scenes” organisation that made it allhappen
Unfortunately Sue and I couldn’t attend the golf or BBQ,as it was her Mum’s funeral that afternoon. It was a sadEaster for Sue and all the family, and on Sue’s behalf Iwish to thank everyone very much for the support andkind thoughts at this difficult time.
I feel privileged to be part of such a wonderful group ofpeople that make up the Rotary Club of Beaumaris.
We are back at VGC this week, with guest speaker RodIngham talking about the Yarra River.
I hope your footy team did well for the first round. Withall the upsets I guess all the tipsters didn’t do too well!
Stay safe everyone.
President John
