GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS

The tournaments/competitions in the following events will be organized during INFINI – 2019 Please note that Referees and Umpires of the respective federations shall be invited to conduct the matches.

Representatives Meeting

A meeting of the managers/representatives of all the Colleges/Universities shall be arranged on th 9 of October to draw fixtures for the tournament.

List of Events

Note: Respective federation rules & regulations will be followed in all the events kabaddi will be playing as per international standardized mat.(weight 80 k.g Below & shoes compulsory ) Five -a-Side Football a playing on turf.

Colleges are requested to send their entries to the PES University Physical Education Department along with duly filled in Entry Form and prescribed entry fee should be sent on or before 5th of October 2019 . The details of the fee are as follows:

Registration & Entries

While reporting for Cricket matches the teams are to bring their personal KSCA approved match balls.

The teams shall report for any scheduled event/match at least 1/2 hour before the designated time in order to felicitate smooth running of the program.

The team players shall also carry their valid identity cards and produce them while reporting for the matches.

Only those players whose names are mentioned in the entry form shall be allowed to participate in the event. No changes at a later stage shall be encouraged.

Postponement

Under no circumstances, the matches/events shall be postponed. Only when the reasons are valid i.e. natural causes like, bad weather, failure of light etc. the matches shall be replayed or postponed.

Walk Over Victory

Teams participating in the event shall follow the appropriate sports attire and put on their respective “college colors”. In case of clash of colors between two teams it shall be decided by the spin of coin as to which team will wear bibs provided by the organizers.

No team should claim walk over victory as a matter of right. In the event of a team failing to report within 15 minutes of commencement of match, walk over victory shall be awarded to the team that reports for the match with its opponents not turning up. (Organizing committee members will take the decision)

Reporting for the Competition

Protests are normally discouraged. Protests on the decision of the official shall not be entertained. However, protests on a point of rule or in connection with the tournament shall be made in writing by the Manager of the team to the convener of the organizing committee and should reach him along with a protest fee Rs. 2000 within an hour of the conclusion of the match. The protest fee shall be forfeited if the protest does not sustain.

Confide full time and duly enrolled students of participating colleges/universities who are pursuing full time course of study only are eligible to register. Students who have applied for re-evaluation or are detained shall not be allowed to participate in the event.

Every team shall bring the eligibility details of players in the prescribed Entry Form with the signature of the players against their names duly attested by the principal, with the college seal. This shall be submitted at the time of reporting for the match.

Ÿ Team should provide their valid I D Cards, failing in which they will not be allowed to participate in the event.

Ÿ All the matches will be played on the PES University Indoor Stadium.

Ÿ The Badminton match will be played best of 3 sets x 21 points .

Ÿ Badminton matches will be played with, LI-NING Feather shuttles.(shuttles will be provided by the organizers ) .

Ÿ The referee's decision shall be final and binding as far as rules are concerned. Any misbehavior of any team members will lead to disqualification from the tournament.

Ÿ The teams should report to the venue 30 min before the scheduled time.

Ÿ All the team players are supposed to play in proper team attires. Failing in which they will not be allowed to play (one color). Non mark able shoes compulsory.

Ÿ No change of players shall be permitted during the tournament once the names in entry form have been submitted.

Ÿ The Organizing committee reserves the right to alter rule or make amendments due to unforeseen circumstances at a later stage.

Ÿ The Matches will be played on Knock Out basis.

Ÿ Teams must be accompanied by the Team Manager and they shall be responsible for team's behavior.

thŸ Fixtures will be drawn on 9 of October 2019. No request for change of fixture

will be entertained.

Ÿ Maximum number of players are 5,& minimum number of players are 2 .st nd rd

Ÿ Matches will be played on 1 singles,2 Doubles, &,3 reverse singles.

Ÿ 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Failing in which walk over can be awarded to the opponent at organizers discretion.

Ÿ Teams reporting late shall loose over’s at the rate of 1 over for every 4 minutes.

Ÿ PES Sports Department reserves all the rights to change/modified the provided information/rule & regulations etc. at any given point of time.

Ÿ The participant in no case shall be more than the age of 25 years.

Ÿ The tournament shall be conducted on knock out basis.

Ÿ Each team should submit the entry form duly attested by the head of the institution.

Ÿ In case the fielding side fails to complete their quota of over’s in the stipulated time, a penalty of existing average runs per over shall be awarded to the batting side.

Ÿ Each bowler should bowl a maximum of 4 over’s only in one match.

Ÿ In case the match didn’t commence due to bad weather or any unavoidable reason, spin of coin shall be used to take decision except for finals.

Ÿ 3 matches per day shall be conducted on each venue. Match 1 – 8 AM, match 2 – 11 AM & match 3 – 2 PM.

Ÿ Teams should bring SG Club ball for each match. Same can also be purchased from organizers on spot.

Ÿ The teams shall report for any scheduled match at least prior to the start of the match. All players should possess valid college ID cards with photos embossed on it.

Ÿ All Pool ‘A’ matches will be played on PES West Campus Cricket Ground and Pool ‘B’ matches will be played on PES South Campus Cricket Ground. (address attached below).

Ÿ All the matches shall be played adhering to KSCA rules and regulations.

Ÿ Only registered players shall be allowed to participate in the events. No players shall be inducted at a later stage.

Ÿ Teams should bring their own kits.
