YOU need for the World Record Attempt!

The W’s: WHO: Benjamyn Hazelton & about 2000 others.

WHAT: An Official Guinness World Records™ Attempt for the

Most Hugs Performed by an Individual in One Hour. The current

record is 1749 set by an American man in 2010. For requirements,

Ben has to speed-hug different people and he’s aiming for 2000+ to

smash it. (He can’t hug a person more than once)

WHEN : Sunday May 1st, 2011. The record will last 60mins

from 11am - 12pm. If you’re running late on the day, please still

attend!!

WHERE: The event will take place during the Urban Country Music

Festival in Caboolture. It’ll be held at the Caboolture Historical Village

(also known as the Village Precinct) which is North of the Caboolture

Showgrounds, entry is off Beerburrum Rd. THE ENTRY TO THIS EVENT IS

COMPLETELY FREE! Ask for help if you are unsure.

WHY: Everyone that signs up, donates a Gold Coin that goes straight

to the Leukaemia Foundation, About $2000-$4000 is estimated to be

raised. So Rally up your friends!

HOW: To minimize space, the 2000 people are divided into six

groups, A, B, C, D, E & F. Group A will arrive at 10:45am then as the

timer ticks from 11am the other groups will arrive as follows:

1. Hug Fast! (Really FAST)

2. Tilt your head to the left

3. Go under my arms (aim for the waist)

Hugging Rules:

The registration dates to sign up and be apart of this are going

to be held at McDonald’s, 126 Morayfield Road, Morayfield,

QLD:

Day 1: Saturday April 2nd

, 2011 from 9am - 3pm.

Day 2: Saturday April 9th, 2011 from 9am - 3pm

Day 3: Saturday April 16th, 2011 from 9am - 3pm

Day 4: Saturday April 23rd, 2011 from 9am - 3pm

Remember to bring your Gold Coin on the above sign up days!

If you happen to miss all of these dates, you can sign up on the

event date May 1st (knowing that you might not be hugged if

quota is filled)
