Day Trip We had a lovely time in Littlehampton, and judging from the responses we have had, we know you did too! The following email was sent from a parent who attended and we thought we’d share it with you all…

I just thought I would take the time to write a brief email to express my thanks for the day out to Littlehampton organised by the Red Oak Centre. The whole family really enjoyed the day out, and the friendly helpful attitude of everyone involved really helped make the day the success that it was. Our two boys were still excited the next day when we went to see their grandparents and took great delight in telling them all about it.

Activities such as this which include members from the whole of the local community are genuinely inspirational and show what can be done by a small dedicated team when they put their mind to it. The fact that there were games, activities and even a shelter for those with younger children was great, and the attention to small details such as giving everyone a map of the local Littlehampton area was great.

As I say, thanks for all you efforts to make sure the day happened including all the behind the scenes work and paperwork that I am sure are necessary to pull off this kind of thing in today’s world. Basically, well done, and keep doing what you're doing.
