Spearheaded comprehensive, 14-facility Cerner and Pyxis systems pharmacy integration to allow for seamless facility-specific formulary management for 100+ Pyxis machines spanning the entirety of the implementation.

Built and ensured accuracy of 100s of CPOEs, clinical protocols, and compounding recipes for pre-op, post-op, OR, ICU, PCU, and PACU departments.

Tasked to implement the radiology department (Radnet) piece within the Cerner system. Lauded for timeliness and efficacy of $500K+ implementation that was completed within one year’s time. Established many impactful, cost-savings measures including a novel insulin charging system, and order

updating process that enhanced the efficiency of inpatient order entry and alteration.

Oversee all aspects of inpatient pharmacy including proper dosing, administration, antibiotic and IV drip

preparation for 20+ patients daily. Involved in P&T Committee meetings including formulary recommendations to physician staff. Functioned as integral member of healthcare team while consulting daily nursing, Emergency room, and OR

directors as well as overseeing the needs of hospital physicians. Led the maintenance and setup of facility Pyxis machines and CII Safe to accurately dispense a formulary of

200+ medications. Managed facility-wide controlled substance inventory including weekly audits & comprehensive diversion

avoidance plan.

Processed 200+ patient orders per shift while solely managing inpatient pharmacy service for a newly-

established overnight service. Managed intense workload including multi-line telephone answering as well as electronic and paper ordering

by nurses and physicians for a 269-bed hospital. Ensured proper dosing, administration, and therapeutic indication for oral and IV orders for patients
