1. Brief about History of school in 100 words
HISTORY OF SCHOOL
N.P. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Gole market , is the realization of a vision . A vision to transform the educational landscape in the capital city and to make quality education available for one and all . From humble beginning to one of the largest council run educational institute is providing all round development of the student . The vision that started 7 decades earlier has now become one of the most formidable success stories of present time .
It was established in 1947 with approx 400 students and it was known as M.B. Sec. School , Gole Market . Later it was upgraded as N.P. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Gole market . The First Principal who took up the charge was Mrs. K. Bhatia (01-12-1947 to 30-11-1961) Presently it has 1123 students with teachers carrying good vision for progress. Mrs. Mukta singh (Principal) is throwing her full calibre to take it to extreme reach.
Finally , our efforts , dedications have helped the unprivileged and poverty stricken but student with potential .
