Aﬅer removal of wear plates in the mill, the exisng rubber lining is removed. The internal surface of the mill is then abrasive blasted to SA 2.5 and tested for surface contaminates. Applicaon of 6mm of Nukote ST is then immediately applied on the internal steel surfaces. Nukote ST system is 95% cured within 5 minutes of applicaon. The fast curing characteriscs of the Nukote system allows re-installing the wear liners of the mill to commence almost immediately aﬅer the coang has been applied. Nukote’s seamless liner system also prevents “racing” that occurs in the joints of tradional rubber liners. The system can be parally or fully installed to a mill and repairs to the liner can be undertaken quickly and efficiently during planned shutdowns.
