Derendinger AG
1930 Founded by Jean Jaques Derendinger in Switzerland.
1997 Take-over of the shares of the families Schürmann & Derendinger
by Sandro Piffaretti.
2008 Sandro Piffaretti becomes the sole shareholder of Derendinger AG.
Métraux Services SA
1967 Michel Métraux opens a gas station in Lausanne.
1971 Take-over and restructuring of Huiles Minérales SA, Etagnières.
1998 Foundation of the Holding Métraux Services SA.
1999 Olivier Métraux takes over the leadership of Métraux Services SA.
Swiss Automotive Group AG
2009 The two family enterprises Derendinger AG and Métraux Services SA
merge their business to the Swiss Automotive Group AG. Olivier Métraux
is assigned president of the Board and Sandro Piffaretti vice president.
2011 Take-over of E. Klaus AG, Gossau.
2012 Take-over of Matik Handels GmbH operatubg in the truck part business.
2012 Take-over of Augros Wetzikon AG by Technomag AG.
2013 Sandro Piffaretti becomes Delegate of the Board of Directors.
2014 Take-over of Hella Ersatzteilhandel GmbH, Vienna.
2016 Minority stake of 20% in the Frenocar Group, Italy.
2016 Minority stake of 10% in the Davasa Group, Spain.
2016 Majority stake in the AUTONET Group, Romania.
