1 Introduction1.1 Positioning
The description based on infoX AAA V200R002 Version.
Huawei uBro (UMTS Broadband) solution is maturity of the Femto Cell technology. Itimplements the access with AP indoor (For example, the family AP, or the company
AP) through fixed broadband ways. And it appears that carriers would get morebenefit from the reusing of the Femto Cell architecture and technology, not only in the
residential market, but also in the business market.
AAA stands for authentication, authorization and accounting. The infoX-AAA is the
AAA product developed by Huawei. As a RADIUS server, the infoX-AAA acts as anAAA server interacting with SeGW, and performs validity authentication to the AP
indoor through the EAP-SIM/EAP-AKA authentication method.

1.2 Benefits
All Network and Multi-Services
The infoX-AAA platform supports various networks such as narrowband,
broadband, WCDMA/GRPS and CDMA450/1X/2000/EV-DO simultaneously. The infoX-AAA platform is able to load multiple AAA services simultaneously, such as narrowband, broadband, WCDMA/GPRS, CDMA MN, CDMA AN, andWiMAX AAA services.
The ability of the infoX-AAA to simultaneously support various networks andservices allows carriers with multiple licenses to save investments andoperating costs. Carriers can build only one AAA system to implementauthentication, authorization and accounting for all the data users on their fixedand mobile networks, achieving centralized user management and unifiedservice provision.
Carrier Grade and High Capacity
The infoX-AAA adopts two-node backup for the critical hardware and it adoptsthe load sharing and balancing mechanism, thereby eliminating single pointfailures. Meanwhile, the infoX-AAA comes with a perfect traffic control andoverload protection mechanism, enabling it to support multiple RADIUS serverssimultaneously and to implement smooth capacity expansion for millions ofusers capacity.
