WHAT TO WATCH FOR//////////////////////////////////

THE CITADEL (0-3) @ ARMY (3-1) | SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10 @ 12:30 PM CT | CBSSNFAST FACTS:

• In a matchup of triple-option teams, there will not be many secrets coming into this one. Army is facing an FCS foe for the second consecutive week after defeating Abilene Christian 55-23 to move to 3-1.

• Army QB Christian Anderson is questionable for this matchup, and his status might come down to a game-time decision. On the year, Anderson has passed for 122 yards on 11 completions to go along with 239 rushing yards and three TD's on 55 attempts. With backup QB Jabari Laws still unavailable following his late-season injury in 2019, So. QB Jemel Jones could potentially make first career start on Saturday.

WEEK 6 MATCHUPS TO WATCH THIS WEEKENDTULANE (2-1) @ HOUSTON (0-0) | THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8 @ 6:30 PM CT | ESPN

FAST FACTS: • Houston should finally get to play game one of their season after having five cancellations due to COVID-19. The Cougars

are breaking in 33 transfers from the JUCO, FCS and FBS ranks. Houston went 4-8 in Dana Holgorsen's first season last year.• Tulane has had an up-and-down season thus far. The Green Wave are coming off of a 66-24 win over Southern Miss a couple

weeks ago, but they preceded that win with a 27-24 loss to a 1-2 Navy team and a 27-24 win over South Alabama in week one.• When the Green Wave offense is rolling, they pound the ball on the ground, and that is exactly what happened a week ago

against Southern Miss. Tulane racked up 427 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns while averaging 7.9 yards per carry. Leading rusher Tyjae Spears is out for the season with a torn ACL, but Tulane still leads the American in rushing with 882 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground this season.

UTEP (3-1) @ LOUISIANA TECH (2-1) | SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10 @ 6:30 PM CT | ESPN2FAST FACTS (via C-USA):

• LA Tech has won seven straight in the series, including 42-21 last year in El Paso, but UTEP is 3-1 for the first time since 2010 as it opens C-USA play. • So. WR Jacob Cowing is averaging 17.1 yards/reception with 22 catches for 377 yards. He has topped the 100-yard mark in three of the first four

games. He is the first Miner with three 100-yard receiving games in a season since Jordan Leslie in 2013.• In UTEP’s win at ULM, Cowing (102 yards) and Justin Garrett (120 yards) gave the Miners two receivers with 100 yards in the same game for the

first time since Nov. 24, 2012 versus Rice, when Jordan Leslie had 168 yards and Michael Edwards added 121.• Fr. RB Deion Hankins has rushed for five TD's in the first three games. In the win at ULM, Hankins became the first UTEP freshman to score three

rushing TD’s in a game since 1985. He tied the school record for single-game rushing TD's by a freshman. Hankins has gone over 100 yards twice in three games, becoming the first UTEP freshman with multiple 100-yard rushing games in a season since Aaron Jones had three in 2016.

• The Miners held ULM to six points, 193 yards and six first downs - all opponent lows under HC Dana Dimel. It was the Miners’ top defensive outing since 2014 at UTSA, when they limited them to 70 yards and two first downs in a 34-0 shutout.

• Four LA Tech wide receivers have recorded multiple TD catches in a single game - Jr. Griffin Hebert (2 at USM, Sept. 19), So. Wayne Toussant (2 vs. HBU, Sept. 26), Sr. Isaiah Graham (2 vs. HBU, Sept. 26) and So. Smoke Harris (2 at BYU, Oct. 2). This marks the first time since 1999 that four Bulldogs have had a two-TD receptions game in one season. There were only four two-TD receptions games in the last three years combined.

• So. WR Smoke Harris has caught three TD receptions this season, (including a 66-yard TD catch at BYU), to rank 9th in the nation.• QB Luke Anthony threw two TD in the loss at BYU and has 10 in his first three games. That ties him for second in the FBS, trailing only Texas' Sam

Ehlinger, who has 14 TD passes this season. Anthony’s pass efficiency rating of 169.1 leads all C-USA QB's that have played at least one game.• RS-Fr. K/P Jacob Barnes has not missed a FG(2-of-2) or XPA (15-of-15) this season. He booted a career-long 50-yard punt at BYU last week.
