3Wayne Lee
Wayne Lee knows that for many of us, our
minds are littered with detours, potholes and
accidents waiting to happen. Fear, self-doubt,
inhibitions of all kinds, beliefs reside in our
subconscious and prevent us from reaching our
conscious goals. But if you Set your GPS (Great Programmable Sub-
conscious) For Success, you can achieve anything while taking the
ride of your life.
If there’s one thing peak performance experts like Wayne Lee
agree on, it’s that the mind is capable of leading us anywhere.
Wayne’s own journey to excellence was fuelled with an unre-
lenting passion for entertaining and empowering people. From a
childhood fascination with magic and visualization, Wayne’s gift
for seeing and acting on what’s possible has grown to international
proportions. He is one of North America’s premier corporate pre-
senters, a veteran of thousands of successful shows, a published
author, and a peak performance coach to professionals of all walks
of life.
Wayne practises what he preaches. Wayne is a former five-
time Canadian Amateur Wrestling Champion, who also served as a
beloved classroom instructor before taking the stage in the corpo-
rate world. More recently, he was named “Entertainer of the Year”
for the Canadian Events Industry.
Wayne Lee is an unrelenting advocate for individuals and
teams looking to turn potential into performance. Through humour
and hypnosis, he helps people drop their defences and access their
GPS. Once in there, Wayne shows how what you put in--beliefs,
attitudes, goals and vision—can act as coordinates that absolutely
determine whether or not you reach your destination. Get it wrong
and you’re stuck in traffic. Get it right and you’ll get to your goal
faster and more directly than you ever thought possible.
Many people find it difficult to make the connection between
the inner goings on of the mind and outward action and perfor-
mance, yet it’s crucial to any success. That’s why Wayne Lee’s work
is so special.
Wayne can break down the barriers of even the most cynical
and resistant individuals through laughter and hypnosis and in the
process show them how to access their own subconscious. Once
people realize what’s possible when they Set their GPS for Success,
it’s as if they become a new person – the person they were always
meant to be. For employers, that means productivity, teamwork,
and a great attitude at work. For employees themselves, it’s like
being handed the keys to the ride of their lives.
JeFF odGer

Saskatchewan Young Ag-Entrepreneurs2013 has been a very busy year for the SYA.
In January we hosted our 7th annual confer-
ence and AGM, which had record attendance numbers, with many
new faces in the room. The SYA partnered with the Saskatchewan
Ministry of Agriculture to bring Larry Martin of Guelph into Saska-
toon in the spring for two workshops on managing commodity risk
using futures and options. In July the SYA was proud to support
the FarmLink fundraiser for STARS by sending 10 of our members
to the event. July was a busy month as the SYA also sponsored 16
members to golf in the annual farmers tournament at Harbor Golf
Club, as well as having seats available for members at an exclusive
field tour day event in NE Saskatchewan.
With no plans of slowing down, the SYA will be kicking off 2014
with a booth at the Western Canadian Crop Production Show, Janu-
ary 13-16 in Saskatoon. We also invite you to attend our 8th an-
nual conference and AGM January 29-30, also in Saskatoon, with
speakers such as Lance Stockbrugger, John Gormley, and Darci Lang
to name a few. Bookmark our website to stay on top of all things

10National Future Farmers of America ConventionThe Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC in partnership with the
Canadian Young Farmers’ Forum (CYFF), and Agriculture & Agri-
Food Canada (AAFC) attended the National Future Farmers of
America Convention & Expo in Louisville, Kentucky October 30-
November 2. Chairman Kerry Froese, General Manager Guenette
Bautz and Board Member Paul Glenn represented the CYFF at the
event.
The focus was on trade. A luncheon was held for young farmers
from both the United States and Canada to discuss issues of mutual
interest and identify synergies within our farming communities. As
the new generation begins to enter the workforce it is imperative
that they understand our trading relationship, and how important
it will be to leverage it throughout their careers.
The advocacy video that was used to highlight trade between the
two countries can be found at http://www.agr.gc.ca/itpd-dpci/amr/
amr-eng.htm. Details on trade relationship specific to individual
states can be found at www.agr.gc.ca/usadvocacy. (Canada and
the U.S. enjoy the largest bilateral trade relationship in the world.
Total bilateral trade in goods and services was $710 billion in 2012
alone! Let’s keep a good thing growing and continue to broaden
this relationship.)
While in Kentucky, the CYFF Annual Conference was highlighted,
young farmers from the United States were invited to attend the
conference, discussions are taking place with our connections;
there is a possibility we will have virtual farm tours presented by
American Young Farmers at our 2014 Conference.
