January’s Saturn-Pluto-Ceres conjunction continues to reverberate across the globe. We are at a pivotal intersection in the unfoldment of this pandemic. Who knows exactly how long this crisis will contin-ue? Some areas and some people will be more badly affected than others. It’s incredibly stressful on many levels, and we each have to manage as best we can.

To help process these transformative events in March I started writing a daily blog, the Corona Crucible that explores our personal and col-lective responses to the COVID-19 pandemic that is swiftly remodel-ling our world. I post daily and it includes links to reputable sources.

It was timely that last year I wrote about Pluto in Aquarius (2023-44) for

the AstroVision EBook and how this coming epoch of Aquarian influences

will totally alter our way of life. I had no idea that it would be a global pan-

demic that would be the catalyst for these changes. But here we are. I will

continue to post excerpts from contribution to this EBook on my Celestial

PERSONAL AND COLLECTIVE RESPONSES TO THIS TRANSFORMATIVE COVID-19

PANDEMIC.

Scorpio Full Moons always have a sting in the tail. With a host of planets stationing retrograde in the days after this Full Moon, this one especial-ly critical. (See page 6 for more analysis.)

Saturn SR focuses our attention on the passage of time, past, present and future. Time indeed feels like

it has stopped and altered course.

Venus SR is always a time of re-treat. What often happens with Ve-nus retrograde is that we become more discriminating in our deal-ings with others and sever ties with those whose values and opinions differ from our own. When Venus is retrograde, people tend to pre-fer isolation to compromising their standards. As always, Venus is ret-

rograde for 40 days, so I don’t ex-pect social distancing measures to relax until late June. Interestingly, the word quarantine, means a pe-riod of 40 days when a ship that was suspected of carrying disease was kept in isolation.

Jupiter SR can make events seem more dramatic and overblown. People can overreact with this sta-tion and take unnecessary risks, so things could get a bit tense around this Full Moon.

Venus is joined by goddess of hearth and home, Vesta and also tightly joins Hygeia, reminding us of the importance of health and hygiene, especially now. Hygeia and Vesta unite with Venus on the 15th, which is a critical time in this current global crisis.

While Venus is retrograde, take the opportunity to reconnect with your core values, or re-evaluate your priorities and develop plans for the coming rebirth.

Gemini is a social sign. Gemini types love to chat and socialise, but under current restrictions what do they do? How do they pass the time?

The extroverted sociable signs like Gemini are really finding it difficult to cope with social distancing and isolation. While introverts are get-ting creative and have never been busier, Geminis are climbing the walls and making 300 phone calls a day.

There’s a host of planets and as-teroids in Gemini now, including the Moon’s North Node that has just shifted into the yang, mutable air sign. With this extra Gemini en-ergy, people will become restless and find social isolation more diffi-cult.

With online learning, meetings, doctor’s appointments and catch ups now having replaced face-to-face contact, we can expect the explosion in online content to con-tinue to grow. New ways of con-necting with one another and new social platforms are emerging as demand increases.

This New Moon trines Saturn in Aquarius which is restructuring our world to facilitate community needs.

Venus and Mercury are squaring Neptune in Pisces, so it’s im-portant to listen to the right advice and not be swayed by misinfor-mation, especially now, with con-spiracy theories spreading faster than coronavirus.

There’s plenty of fear at the mo-ment and it’s feeding paranoia and so just remain in the present moment and do your best to man-age your own circumstances. Each day.

In the days following the 7 May Scorpio Full Moon, three planets and one main asteroid (Athena) will all station retrograde. Saturn stations on 11 May, Venus on the 13th, and Jupiter on the 15th. Asteroid Athe-na will follow suit two days later. This is a critical time in the battle with Coronavirus, especially for the US and Trump.

Venus will station at 21 Gemini, hitting Donald Trump’s Sun and Nodal axis. Saturn and Athena sta-tion on the cusp of his 6th house of health, while S Jupiter (and T Pluto) still oppose his Saturn-Venus.

Meanwhile, transiting Mars opposes his natal Mars and Ascendant.

We have seen on a number of occasions, that Trump seems to be able to shrug off heavy hitting transits, but January’s Saturn-Pluto conjunction is still within orb of opposition to his Venus-Saturn, amplified by stationary Jupiter. l sense that these powerful sta-tions will see to it that he will in some way have to face reality.

Stationary planets carry immense power. Indeed Trump’s natal chart has a host of stationary planets, more than any birth chart I have ever seen.

The coming Venus station aligns with Mars in the USA Sibly chart and the Jupiter’s station hits the US 2nd house Pluto. There are other powerful transits underway to the US chart, such as a deluded Nep-tune opposition creating confusion and a tendency to avoid reality, and their approaching revolutionary Pluto return which is building towards exactness and likely to have lasting economic impacts.

The situation in the US is dire, both health wise and economically with acute shortages of medical equip-ment and food. Millions of people cannot access government support. It’s descending into chaos with protestors in the streets demanding the US reopen for business, saying that god will save them, or that the whole thing is a myth. Total madness.

I’m hopeful that these four planetary stations will call a halt to the current trajectory.
