Today, many drivers choose GEM electric vehicles to help improve the environment. Battery-electric GEM vehicles produce no tailpipe emissions making them an excellent transportation solution.

GEM vehicles are battery-electric and operate on a 72-volt battery system. With a top speed of 25 mph, GEM vehicles have a range of up to 30 miles on a charge* and are great for traveling around your neighborhood.

GEM vehicles are classified as low-speed vehicles, or neighborhood electric vehicles, and are street legal in most states on public roads posted at 35 mph or less.**

Federal tax credits are available for the purchase of GEM vehicles. Also, depending on your area, incentives from air districts or other governmental agencies may be available.

GEM vehicles plug into a standard 110-volt outlet and recharge in approximately six to eight hours*. What makes GEM vehicles so unique is that they can be recharged anytime, anywhere a 110-volt outlet is available.

The cost of ownership is one-third, and the fuel efficiency is eight times greater when compared to their gasoline-powered counterparts, making GEM vehicles extremely cost-effective and energy efficient.

GEM vehicles are constructed of welded aluminum space-frame and vacuum-formed ABS plastic body panels. The design contributes to the vehicle’s durability and performance by reducing weight without sacrificing strength.

GEM vehicles have an independent front suspension system and rack-and-pinion steering to improve vehicle control and stability.

Front-wheel disc and rear-wheel hydraulic drum brake systems ensure the ability to stop safely. Regenerative braking improves vehicle driving range by using the drive motor to assist in each stop.
