Provision for Traffic...

A Traffic Management Plan in accordance with NSW Roads & Traffic Authority (April 2006) Version 3.1 Traffic Control at Work Sites is prepared for all bridge works.

A Vehicle Management Plan (VMP) may also be prepared to determine how vehicles entering, leaving or moving around the work site will do so with safety.

What else can be used?

• Serious Injuries 3-5 times the total number of transports to hospital

• Injury level can be shown to provide a direct cost for communities

• For road works sites- injuries could be directly related to the site
