Institutional Visits are visits to

- governmental or non – governmental organisations

- public administrations- private institutions- universities or other higher

education institutions

where the main purpose of the event is the visit itself.




Types:

National International

International – to the … in a foreign country

National - to the… in the country of the organising group.




Why to organize an IV?

Responsibilities of the of the National Groups • Provide with knowledge• ESF• Evaluations – 2 week after the event • Ensure respect of the regulations

Institutional relations: relations with governmental or non-governmental organisations, public administrations, private institutions, universities or other higher education institutions.

Approaching National institutions:- Permission of the respective national

group- Answer in 2 weeks

Approaching International institutions: - Before contacting approach IB (VP S&C)- 2 week answer- EI assists in contact

Summary • Send a request for the visit at least two months before the visit

• Contact ELSA International before sending a request to the institutions

• The event fees do not apply for Institutional Visits

• Institutional Visit Evaluation Form to ELSA International
