1. INTRODUCTION

ThankyouforchoosingSensorika43000Seriesweighingindicator.ThemodelsSensorika43050and43050‐Warerugged,reliableelectronicweighingindicatorsinanIP65(dustproof)andIP67washdownenclosuredesignedforeasyoperationinindustrialapplications.

The43000Seriescandriveupto12(twelve)350Ohmloadcells.TheIndicatorhasanenhanceddigitalfilterwhichallowsstabledisplayreadingevenifyousetthedisplayresolutionto1:100,000.

TheLCDdisplayhasbluebacklightand6digits,1”/2.5cminheight.Itprovideseasyreadingofdisplayfromadistanceorevenwithpoorlightingontheweighingstation.

Anadjustablemountingbracketallowstheindicatortobeinstalledonatable,wallorscalescolumn.

2.3 OVERVIEWOFINDICATOR’SCONTROLBUTTONS

On/off button.

Unit selection button. It is used to select units (lb, oz, kg), piece-counting mode and as the Escape button in the Calibration or Setup menus.

Note: You can only select a unit that is enabled. To enable/disable units, go to parameter [Units] in the Customer Setup menu.

PLU button. Used to enter Setup or Calibration menus.

Gross/Net button. Press shortly to see Gross or Net weights. Press and hold to enter the Checkweighing mode.

Zero button. It sets the weight to zero. Press and hold the button to enter the Display Test mode.

Tare button. Press to accept recipient weight placed on the scale as tare. Press and hold to access the stored tare values.

MR and (LEFT) navigation key. Press to show accumulated total weight. In the menu mode, it is used to return to the previous step or escape from any parameter.

M+ and (RIGHT) navigation key. In the weight accumulation mode, press it to store and add the displayed weight to the value in memory.

1-2 and (UP) navigation key. Press to change from the scale plate to an external plate (only for double platform function scales). In the menu mode, it increases the value (number) on the display.

MC and (DOWN) navigation key. Press it to erase the accumulated weight from memory. In the menu mode, it decreases the value (number) on the display.

(ENTER) navigation key. Press to confirm the selection made in the programming mode. Press and hold to lock or unlock the keyboard.

3. INSTALLATION

3.1 UNPACKINGANDCHECKING

Openthepackageandremovetheinstrumentandtheaccessories.Checkthecompletenessofthedelivery.

Checktheinstrumentforanytransportdamages.Immediatelyinformyourdealerifyouhaveanycomplaintorseeanypartmissing.Yourindicatorpackageshouldcontain:

• IndicatorSensorika43050or43050‐W• Stainlesssteelbracketwithfixingknobs• 7–pinconnectorforloadcellcable(cableisnotprovided)• 8–pinconnectorforconnectionofPC,Remotedisplay,printerortarepedal(cablenotprovided)• Rechargeablebatterypack(internallyinstalled)• Poweradapter100~240VAC/9VDC800mA

3.2 SELECTINGTHELOCATION

Theweighingindicatorperformsthebestwhenworkinginanenvironmentfreefromaggressiveelements,vibrationsandextremetemperaturechanges.Thesefactorscanaffecttheaccuracyoftheweightreadings.Thescalebaseshouldbeplacedonastablehorizontalsurfaceawayfromvibrationsourcesandstrongmagneticfields.

3.3 CONNECTINGINDICATORTOASCALEBASE

WeighingindicatorSensorika43050(W)connectstothescalebasebya7‐pinBendixBayonetConnectorprovidedbymanufacturer.Loadcellcablefromscalebaseshouldbefixedtotheconnectorprovidedbyelectricalsolderaccordingtotheloadcellcableconnectionchart.(Fig.3).

4. OPERATINGTHEINDICATOR

WeighingindicatorSensorika43050(W)isnotsuitableforuseinhazardousareas.

Oncetheindicatorandscalebaseareconnectedandinstalled,followtheCalibrationandSetupmenutoobtainadesiredsettingofthescale.

RECOMMENDATION:Warmupthescalebeforecalibration.Switchthescaleonandletitstayforatleast1hourbeforeenteringthecalibrationmode.

Tosetuppiececounting,firstselectpiece‐countingmodeusing(U)button.Thecountingmodeindicatorappearsontherightsideofthedisplaywindow(fig.2,pos.10).Pressandhold(U)buttonformorethanasecond,aflushingnumber10willappear.Setupthesamplequantityyouwanttouse,from10to100(forsmallitemsaslargersamplequantitymoreprecisethecountingoperation)thanpress(ENTER).Thesamplevaluewillcontinueflushingfor5secondsthanstops.Yourscaleisreadyforpiececounting.

NOTE:Youloseyoursamplesettingswhenthescaleisturnedoff,unlessyousavethesampleweightsinmemory.

Youcansaveupto100samplevaluesinmemoryofweighingindicator.

Whenthescaleisinpiece‐countingmodeandsamplevaluealreadyconfigured,press(PLU)buttononce,displaywillshow[PLUPro].Use(RIGHT)navigationkeytoreach[CLUPro],press(ENTER)key.

CLU 01 Usenavigationkeystoselectthememorynumberwherethesamplevaluewillbestored,press(ENTER)tosave.Yourindicatorreturnsto[CLUPro]parameterafterthesampleweightisstored.

Torecallastoredsamplevalue,entertopiece‐countingmodeusing(U)button,thenpressandhold(B/N)buttonuntildisplayshows[CLU01].Inputamemorynumberwherestoreddesiredvalueandpress(ENTER).

4.3.3.3 DIGITALTAREFUNCTIONSETUP

Placethecontainerorotherobjectthatyouwanttotareandpressthe(TARE)button.Thescalewillthentaketheobjectastareanddisplaythenetweight.Press(B/N)buttontotogglebetweenGrossweightandNetweight.

Sensorika43050(W)canstoreupto20digitaltaresintheindicator’smemory.ThisfunctionisveryusefulwhenGrossandNetweightarebothrequiredbutitsimpossibletoseparatetheproductsfromtheirpackaging(bucket,pail,pallet,etc).Iftheweightofpackagingisknown,itcanbemanuallystoredintheindicator’smemoryandbeusedlater.Followthesestepstosavedigitaltaresinmemory.

Press(PLU)button.Use(RIGHT)navigationkeytoreach[tLUPro].

Torecalladigitaltarefromthememory,pressandhold(TARE)buttonuntil[tLU01]messageappears.Selectthenumberofmemorywhereyourdigitaltareisstoredandpress(ENTER).Thetarevaluewillbedisplayed.

Press(ENTER),selectoneofthe20memoriesdesignatedfordigitaltares,press(ENTER)again,enterthevalueofdigitaltareyouwishtostoreandpress(ENTER)tosaveit.Yourindicatorwillnowreturnto[tLUPro].Repeatthesameprocedureifyouwishtostoremoretares.
