1. Why these instructions? In order to fill in any online application form of the Universitat de València, you need to install several applets in your computer. The reason for doing this is a security policy established in the Spanish Law with regard to the documents and information you are supplying to public institutions’ records. It is for your security and to provide you a secure access during your application. When explaining you below how to install all applets, after each image1, you will find an INSTRUCTION sentence. Please, follow all steps. If your internet browser is Opera, Chrome, Safari, or any other, you should follow the instructions for Mozila Firefox as the process for installing the applets is very similar.

2. Before using the on-line application Before entering the on-line application:

1. Make sure that Java Script is activated or enabled on your internet browser. 2. Make sure that Java is installed in your computer. Minimum requirement for Java is

Version 6. Java and JavaScript are not the same thing!!! They only share the name! If Java Script is not activated or enabled in your internet browser, whichever it is, when you click on the “Send” button at the end of the process, we will not receive your application. If Java (Version 6) is not installed in your computer, you will not be able to download some applets that must be installed on your computer in order to run the online application on your computer. To install Java (at least version 6), you can download it free in www.java.com There are quite good instructions in this website http://mistered.us/tips/javascript/browsers.shtml in order to enable or activate JavaScrip on your internet browser.

3. The first time you use the online application When you first access the online application, the applets you need to install on your computer are automatically downloaded in your computer and a message appears on your screen. These applets need to be installed only once. Next time you access the online application, you will not be asked again to install them. 1 Images in this document are presented in Spanish but the messages in your computer will appear in the language you are using on it.

10. How can you know that WOP Erasmus Programme Selection Commission has received your application and documents? Do you get any document at the end of your online application?

At the end of the online application, you get a pdf document. It looks like the image below but of course it contains your data. This is the proof that you have sent your application and that we have received it.

11. About the button “Temporary copy” on the left bottom side of the online application.

What is that for? During the whole online application process, you will find a button called “Temporary copy” at the left bottom of your screen. If you click on it, it will appear you the following (shadowed in light brown colour):

Click on the button “Stored in my computer”. The application will ask you then where you want to keep or store that file in your computer. What to do next time you use the online application? Click on the Temporary copy button and click on “Examinar”. Choose the file you first stored in your computer and lastly click on the button “Load data from the file selected”. This way, you will have your data which you already introduced last time filled in again on the online application. So, you do not need to fill in again the data which you already introduced before. Does this “Temporary copy” button have another function? Yes. If you have no success with sending us the online application, you can send us by e-mail this file and it provides us information about the reason of not succeeding in the
