  • Details: As part of this years festival we are launching a new inter-school art competition for the schools of Castle Point and are inviting all schools, both primary and secondary to enter. Our first place prize is an IPAD for student and 150 for the supporting school, there will also be a number of runner up prizes.

    All work entered will be displayed for the community to see on:

    Wednesday 28th October at Cedar Hall School, Thundersley. (Cedar Hall School, Hart Road, Thundersley, SS7 3UQ) between 6.30pm - 8.00pm. Our independent judges will announce the winners at this exhibition.

    Rules, details, and how to

    enter the art competition

    How to enter: We invite students of all ages and abilities to enter. A school can enter as many students as they wish into the competition, however a student can only enter one piece to their name. The artwork must be a 2D piece and will be hung for the community exhibition.

    There as an administration fee of 2.00 per student, which needs to be paid upon entry (cheques payable to TCC) artwork must be entered prior to the exhibition.

    Deadline for entries is Friday 23rd October.

    Entries can be posted or dropped into Thundersley Congregational Church, Kenneth Road, Thundersley, SS7 3AL during office hours. (Collection is possible please call 01268 754731 for more details)

    Students need to identify their work with their name and the name of the

    supporting school, plus a contact name within the school so it can be returned.

    The competition and judges: The competition is organised by Thundersley Congregational Church (Charity Number: 1138562) as part of The Noise Arts Festival, the competition will be judged by two independent GCSE art teachers.
