    Field Officer Jake Molson was pissed!

    Heading home at the end of a 15 hour extended shift and two blocks from his conapt, Molson had received

    priority one orders to provide backup for a late night raid. Assholes! So much for sleep! he thought!

    Intel had reached HQ a few days ago that an outlaw group of scientists allegedly led by a rogue Comoros telepat

    were conducting unsanctioned medical experiments on kidnapped civilians. The location of the laboratory wasfinally disclosed barely an hour ago and a hastily assembled security team was dispatched to neutralize the illega

    operation.

    As the UIG breach team locked down the perimeter, Molson lagging behind, walked inside a brightly lit, crystal-

    lined room stepping over a widening pool of scarlet emanating out from the still-warm body of the suspected

    Comoros researcher. Molson looked down at the corpse suppressing an urge to kick the body as he walked past.

    Finding nothing of import inside the shattered lab, Molson walked back out into the hall when he heard the first

    screams. Moving tactically towards the grisly sounds, Molson rounded the far corner of the hall and stopped

    short, his mouth dropping open in amazement. Before Molsons unbelieving eyes sat five pre-pubescent children

    of Indo-African descent calmly sitting in a semi-circle before the advance of the heavily armed team. Theremaining members of the assault force, consisting of a pair of black-armored Malenbrach Street Sweepers, two

    other UIG field officers and a small team of conscripted agents from a local Western Federation corporate office

    poured a literal rain of kinetic and plasma weapons fire upon the exposed kids.

    Shocked into action, Molson, in a near panic started to yell for the team to stop firing when he suddenly realized

    that the seemingly frail children were being protected by a strange form of energy shield which flickered into brie

    visibility as it repelled the concentrated strikes of the teams weapons fire. Without warning, the four Agent

    conscripts were struck in quick succession by arcs of sizzling cobalt lightning, momentarily linking them together

    in a hideous balefire dance of death. Seeing the Malenbrach switching to heavier weapons, Molson assumed a

    firing stance, pointing his weapon towards the nearest hellion. As he began to fire his 220, Molson was suddenly

    knocked off his feet by a bone-jarring blast of force emanating from where the Malenbrach had been kneeling.

    Trying to pick himself off the floor and shaking his head to regain his senses Molson did not see the weird blue

    lightning take out the remaining members of the security team but he did hear their agonized screams.

    Using the wall to get to his feet Molson looked up just in time to see the last of the Malenbrach fall under the

    crackling assault, its shattered corpse a glowing red husk. And then as one, the eerily calm children slowly turned

    their expressionless faces toward him, translucent eyes rolling up into sunken sockets. Not waiting around to se

    what came next, Molson turned and ran for his life towards the far exit.

    Creator Notes

    Below are new telepathic trainings using existing telepathy skills from the Corporation Main Book. These

    trainings were created to expand character options and may not be suitable for every Corporation campaign.

    New Sciences are not to be considered particularly canon to existing institutions and in some cases are

    speculative in nature as well as being extrapolated from completely conjectural possibilities.

    New Telepathic Trainings

    [Prescience Discipline]

    *Foresight

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Psychology 5; Prescience 6

    Foresight allows a telepath to see possible outcomes concerning her immediate social interactions with others.

    For one scene you can choose to enhance ONE of the following skills with a bonus equal to the level of Prescienc

    used:

    Arts & Culture (performing arts & etiquette)Attitude

    Corporate Knowledge (etiquette)

    Lying & Acting

    Observation (behavior)

    Psychology

    Street Culture (street level etiquette)

    *Oracle

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Psychology 6; Prescience 8

    Range Telepath's Presence in meters

    The Oracle training allows the telepath to extend Prescience bonuses to a number of recipients equal to his levein the Psychology Skill.

    [Shield Discipline]

    *Shield Other

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Presence 6; Shield 8

    Range Shield x 5 meters away in line of sight

    This training allows the Telepath to project a telepathic shield over a single target which acts as a normal

    manifestation of the power in all respects. Range is the Telepath's Presence in meters.

    *Shield Projection

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Training: Shield Other; Presence 7; Shield 10

    Range Telepath

    Shield Projection allows the Telepath to erect a telepathic shield over an area equal to their Presence + Shield in

    meters. The effect is centered on the Telepaths initial position and may only be moved if the Telepath was

    already inside a vehicle or using some other personal conveyance.

    [Assault Discipline]

    *Intensify Assault

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath;Training:Assault Mastery; Assault 6

    By spending additional TE the Telepaths Assault can ignore 4 points of the targets AV. Cost is equal to the level

    Assault used in the attack.

    *Chained Assault

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath;Training:Assault Mastery; Assault 7Range Assault x 5 meters away in line of sight.

    With this training the Telepath creates an arcing or chained effect with her Assault power which affects a numbe

    of targets equal to one-half her Assault score. Targets may only be affected once per manifestation and the

    Telepath has the option to limit the number of targets affected if she chooses. A designated target can be no

    farther than the five meters away from the previous one and the Telepath must be able to see all targets.

    *Assault Burst

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath;Training:Assault Mastery; Assault 8

    Range Assault x 10 meters away in line of sight.

    The telepaths Assault power manifests as an explosive wave effect encompassing an area equal to his PresenceAssault level in meters. The telepath may choose to limit the radius of a particular manifestation if he chooses;

    however all potential targets within the designated area of effect are subject to damage and are not exempt fro

    harm.

    [Mind Discipline]

    *Inquisition

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Training: Interrogation; Psychology 4; Mind 4

    This training improves your ability to extract useful information during interviews and interrogations by providin

    a bonus equal to the level of Mind used in the attempt for any opposed rolls. See the Interrogation training

    (Main Book, pg 22) for additional details.

    *Mind Vault

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Psychology 4; Mind 6

    This training allows a group of up to nine telepaths to construct a mental repository allowing limited access to th

    stored knowledge within.

    Telepaths are limited to donating only one skill OR training to the vault and anyone wishing to access the stored

    knowledge must possess the necessary prerequisites. A telepath may only access a single skill OR training at a

    time and the level of any particular skill is equal to that of the contributor.

    If a contributor is slain or permanently rendered unable to use telepathy her contribution to the vault is lost.

    *Collective Unconscious

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Training: Mind Vault; Psychology 10; Mind 10

    The Collective Unconscious training provides a heightened understanding of thought and access to the

    accumulated knowledge and experiences of a given species. This body of lore consists of universal information

    which resonates psychically throughout all human mind-space.

    In effect this training allows a telepath to access anyskill (6 +d4 levels) or training for which they possess the

    necessary prerequisites. Onlyone skill or training may be accessed at a time.

    [Biokinisis Discipline]

    *Bio-transfusion

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Medicine1; Biokinisis 6

    Range Touch

    With this training the Telepath may use his Biokinisis power to heal another persons wounds and to neutralize

    toxins and diseases. If the Telepath critically fails during the healing attempt, both he and the patient suffer the

    negative effects listed in the Main Book, pg 74

    [Telekinesis Discipline]

    *Celerity

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Athletics 4; Telekinesis 4

    Celerity enhances the Telepaths speed and quickness by telekinetically boosting the body as it moves. This

    provides an increased movement rate equal to the Telepaths Telekinesis skill for one scene. Any skills or

    trainings which could benefit from an increased movement rate are also enhanced (i.e. Free Running).

    *DeflectPrerequisites: Training: Telepath; Close Combat 4; Telekinesis 6

    This training allows the Telepath to use telekinetic force to aid in blocking attacks in Close Combat. The telepath

    enjoys a bonus to Defense equal to one-half the Telekinesis level used in the attempt for one scene.

    [Jump Discipline]

    *Spring Attack

    Prerequisites: Training: Telepath; Athletics 4; Jump 6

    Spring Attack potentially allows the Telepath to make his attack and then leap away from his adversaries before

    they have a chance to react. In effect the Telepath enjoys a bonus to his initiative and withdraw from combat

    rolls equal his level in Jump for one scene.
