International Aircraft Engine Association Charter
A trade association funded by member corporations and individuals to establish collaboration and
standardize global practices in the aircraft engine industry.
Mission:
1. Set global standards in practices, legal documentations, operating and maintenance data
through industry collaboration working groups to address common industry issues
2. Voice industry concerns to legislative and Civil Aviation Authorities around the world as the only
recognized qualified professional body worldwide
3. Maintain a global forum to integrate the entire spectrum of aircraft engine design, ownership,
operation and maintenance through social media and conferences
4. Keep the global aero engine community up to date on the latest news, technology development
and events through regular newsletters and publications
5. Develop and promote professional development and certification programs in the field of
aircraft engine globally
Chapters:
The association, under the direction of the Board of Directors, will form working committees and accept
membership in the following areas:
1. Trade, Lease and Finance
a. Define and maintain globally recognized “identity certificate” for every engine in service
b. Define globally recognized standard lease, trade and finance contracts and practices
c. Maintain a directory of engines available for trade, finance and lease globally
d. Maintain a global directory of financial resources available for aircraft engines
2. Operations and Maintenance
a. Define globally recognized standard maintenance contracts and operation records
b. Maintain a directory of service providers for all operational needs
c. Maintain a directory of suppliers and maintenance providers of engine, components and
major parts
3. Consulting Services
a. Present professional opinions to owners, operators, maintenance providers and Civil
Aviation Authorities around the world
b. Maintain a directory of companies and individuals who provide consulting services
available to start-ups and legacy operators around the world
4. Publications, News and Events

a. Publish the latest orders, news and developments in the industry
b. Maintain a directory of all industry events, past and future
c. Maintain a database of presentation materials exclusive to members
d. Publish newsletters and journals exclusive to members
e. Organizing all areas in a single exclusive engine show held worldwide with the following
annual schedule starting 2013:
i. Los Angeles Q1
ii. London Q2
iii. Dubai Q3
iv. Singapore Q4
f. Organize career events and maintain a list of all career opportunities globally
5. Trainings and Certification Programs
a. Maintain a global directory of all available relevant training programs such as
Professional Engineering “PE”, borescope, health monitoring and fleet management
b. Review training programs and endorse high quality programs
c. Develop and offer assessor and forensic certification programs
Board of Directors:
Members of the board are selected based on a two year assignment period from organizations such as
engine manufacturers, operators and services providers. Board meetings are held twice a year organized
and administered by Dr. Rezaei to:
1. Review progress on the geographical and organizational growth of the association
2. Implement any necessary modifications to chapters and missions
The members of the board will commit to promote the association and its mission through their
presence in the industry related events and meetings with industry executives. They may seek
membership from industry professionals and corporations in addition to corporate contributions ,
sponsorship and hosting events. They may invite senior executives to become member of the Board of
Advisors to utilize their expertise in the growth of related association’s chapter.
The selection of new members is based on recommendations made to the board for qualification
review. Members may also assume an executive role in the association.
Board of Advisors:
Members of the Board of Advisors are selected based on a two year assignment period. Members are
selected based on approval of the Board of Directors to offer advice and guidance, provide adequate

coverage at events and be a representative of the industry association. Corporate members and
sponsors may have a seat on the board of advisors.
Association Financial Structure:
The association will raise funds through:
1. Corporate and individual membership
2. Global events and exhibitions
3. Journal and newsletter publications and related advertising
4. Corporate sponsorship
5. Consulting Referrals
6. Development and training programs
The association will publish an annual financial report and maintain all records for quarterly/annual
audits by the board and an independent outside auditing firm.
