International Detailed Quote Including Duty and Tax on fedex.com How to get a detailed quote including a duty and tax estimate (shipping outside of the U.S.).

Step by Step 1. Enter the shipper’s zip code.

2. Enter the recipient’s country. .


3. Enter the recipient’s postal code. .

4. Enter the number of packages. .


5. If you are shipping a multiple piece shipment, indicate whether the packages are identical or not.

6. Enter the total weight.


7. Indicate whether you plan to schedule a pickup or drop off the packages.

8. Verify the ship date or change it by clicking on the calendar icon. .


9. Click the Get detailed quote button.

10. Indicate if you are shipping a Letter or Products or documents.


11. If you are shipping Products or documents, indicate that you want to include duty and tax estimate in the rate quote.

12. Enter the Customs value.


13. Choose the Account number.

14. Choose your package type.


15. Click the Continue button.

16. Click the letter associated with your product/commodity.


17. Select the description that best describes your product.



19. Enter the product name.

20. Enter the product name in the Harmonized code field.


21. Click the Get code button.

22. Select the correct harmonized code until you can no longer choose.


23. Indicate the number of units being shipping.

24. Select the Country of manufacture.



26. Please view the rates and transit times available. Place your mouse over the rate to see a breakdown of the estimated duties and taxes. .


27. Note: The rate shown may be different than the actual charges for your shipment. Differences may occur based on actual weight, dimensions and other factors. For more accurate rate and transit quotes, enter more shipment information before getting your rate.
