International Energy Services Conclave 2019 Energy Efficiency for Business Competitiveness 6 – 8 March 2019, New Delhi India is on the path of development and economic growth, heavily dependent on imported energy – oil, gas and coal. Although renewable energy has increased its share appreciably, the reliance on conventional energy and its imports is steadily rising in an unsustainable manner, which can be addressed through a much greater emphasis on energy efficiency. Incorporating energy efficiency and clean energy practices in processes would be the least disruptive path to adapt to climate change. The energy service providers has the know-how and necessary expertise to not only implement energy efficiency solutions but also to integrate best combination of renewable, as well as efficient technologies and solutions. Integrating energy efficiency to a firm’s business strategy would be the most prominent step in enabling India to be an energy efficient economy and a key resource towards achieving NDC (Nationally Determined Contributions) targets along with all-round sustainable growth. To enable scaling up of business through customer centric energy efficiency services, AEEE with support from BEE, is organising the first "International Energy Services Conclave 2019 - Energy Efficiency for Business Competitiveness" on 6-8 March 2019, Le Méridien, New Delhi. Introduction Outcomes Background The Conclave has been designed to meet the needs of a range of stakeholders of energy efficiency ecosystem such as – Energy Consumers, Energy Efficiency Service Providers, Energy Service Companies, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), System Integrators, Utilities and DISCOMS, Financing community, Industry associations, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Research & Academia. Energy services providers interested in scaling up business and looking towards gaining insights from international and national experts. OEMs interested in a technology-specific partnership with energy services providers in SME clusters and testing new business models. Banks and FIs interested in lending projects on energy efficiency. Startup companies in EE business, interested in collaborations and tapping new business opportunities.
