Sussex Coast College Hastings (SCCH) has been welcoming students from across the world for over 30 years. We provide high quality teaching in a caring, relaxed environment where you can make friends easily.

Hastings is a historic seaside town in South East England with a population of over 90,000, including a university and multi-cultural student population.

WELCOME

Sussex Coast College Hastings (SCCH) is a state funded Further Education college based in Hastings, East Sussex. We have two fantastic clubs

SCCH provides education and training for 2,000 full-time students aged 16-18, 5,000 part-time adult learners and over 500 international students each year.

We have a long tradition of welcoming students from over 80 countries and providing outstanding teaching and learning. We treat teaching and learning very seriously and expect the utmost commitment from all our overseas students to work hard and attend regularly.

In return, we offer outstanding welfare and cultural

understanding and a promise that you will have a life- changing experience while you are in our care.

We offer a broad range of courses for international students, providing a safe and welcoming environment that will ensure you learn and develop your English language, academic and/or vocational skills.

We are a UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) Agency Highly Trusted Sponsor for Tier 4 Student Visa and can also issue student visitor visa documentation for short study courses. The college also has a discreet multi-faith room for all students to use.

Hastings is the birthplace of our nation’s culture. Everything that is English started here: our language, our legal system, our monarchy, our art. Its rich history includes the famous Battle of Hastings in 1066 and is the official home of the Television, where John Logie Baird first demonstrated it in 1923.

Hastings is also host to over 70 festivals each year, including Pirate Day, bonfire celebrations, Seafood and Wine Festival, Fat Tuesday Festival, International Piano Festival, International Chess Festival and Jack-in-the-Green, plus many more.

There is a lively town centre and a charming old town, both of which have bars, cafés, clubs, restaurants, shopping and a cinema. Alongside the buzzing town and playful seafront is beautiful countryside, with public cliff-side, beach and woodland walks, perfect for exploring. There are also excellent transport links to London and Brighton, Gatwick and Heathrow international airports, as well as being close to continental Europe.
